McCann, Ralph Samuel
It is with much love and sad hearts we say goodbye to Ralph Samuel McCann, best friend, soul mate, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
Ralph was born August 25, 1928, in Red Deer, AB. He passed away October 7, 2024 at the age of 96.
He leaves to mourn his loving wife Maxine of 69 years. His children; Dale, Heather & Terry Watson, Lori & Fred Slobodian, Ross & Carol Anne. His grandchildren; Ryan & Katharine LaFrance, Vanessa & Allison McCann, Gordon & Megan Bell. His great grandchildren; Quinn & Hannah LaFrance, Lincoln & Kinsley Bell.
Ralph resided on the family farm with his wife Maxine and children in the Fawcett area. He spent many years operating cat, making leases for Oilfield companies. In the sixty’s he worked at City Hall in Edmonton doing tax assessing. His last three years were spent at the Smithfield Lodge in Westlock. Family would like to thank Level 4 Team for all his comfort and care along with the Westlock Healthcare Center staff.
Ralph was predeceased by his parents, Samuel & Evelyn McCann, siblings Margaret, Harry, Johnny, Tommy, Bill Hugh, Betty and grandson Gregory LaFrance.
As per Ralph’s wishes a private family gathering will be held at the Fawcett Cemetery.
