On December 18, 2019, Neil I. Dabels was called back to his heavenly home while surrounded by his family at the age of 77 years. Neil is lovingly remembered by his wife, Judith; five children, Pam (Dave), Sharon (Vince), Rodney (Jennifer), Darcy and Lisa; twelve grandchildren, Colin (Danielle), Jessica (Landen), Jeffrey, Cicely, Brendan, Christopher (Kelsea), Jack, Joshua, Dylan, Holden, Zachary, and Amelia; five great-grandchildren, Dawson, Bronwyn, Tanner, Aubrielle and Paisley-Grace; four brothers and sisters, Lois, Alan, Lyle, and Dann; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended relatives, and friends. Predeceased by his grandson, Carter; and sister, Myda. Thank you to the staff at the University of Alberta Hospital Neurology ICU for their patience, kindness, and care. Private Graveside Service will take place at Hillcrest Cemetery, Fort Assiniboine. A Celebration of Neil’s life will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 400 McLeod Avenue, Spruce Grove.
