POLIS, Glen Orville
April 25, 1943 – June 24, 2022
The Polis family sadly shares the passing of Glen (79) with his loving wife of 55 years, Glenda at his side.
He is also survived by his children Gord (Melanie) and Gerri (Jason); grandchildren Jaymee, Jaxon, Deanna, Marshall and Alanah. “Uncle Glen” will also be missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law, his nieces and nephews and many friends.
Glen was born in southern Alberta but moved to Dapp as a child. With the exception of a stint at SAIT, he lived his entire life in the Westlock area working for AGT/Telus. He was an avid sports enthusiast from hockey and baseball to hunting and fishing. He played then coached hockey and ball and was a fanatic Oilers and Blue Jay’s fan. And of course, once he discovered golf he and Glenda were a fixture at the Westlock Golf Club until last summer.
A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 @2:00 pm at the Westlock Memorial Hall.
