ROZAK, Gladys “Ann”

It is with heavy hearts the family of Ann Rozak of Westlock, AB announces her passing surrounded by family on August 14, 2022, at the age of 69 years.

Ann is survived by her husband of 48 years, Steve; three daughters: Dorie (Tim), Sarah, Susie (Steve); grandchildren: Tyler, Aidan, Delaney, Anson, Keagan, Payton, Anora and Quincy; two brothers: Jack and Ken (Rose Ann); niece, Casandra; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Stanley and Gladys; siblings: Sheila, Stan, and Glenn.

Ann grew up in Edmonton and moved to Flatbush in the early 70’swhere she met her soulmate and built a beautiful life together on their farm. Ann was always active in the community of Flatbush and loved the people there. Ann served as ID/MD 124 counselor for many years and enjoyed her time serving the community and area. Ann volunteered tirelessly with the 4-H, Hall Board, and Flatbush Ladies Club until she was unable to do so anymore. Ann was a creative and jovial soul; whether it was her sewing, porcelain doll making, furniture refinishing, or entertaining the community with her puppet shows her mind was always creating.

Ann’s wishes were to be cremated and a gathering will be held at a later date.

Anyone who so wishes may make a memorial donation directly to Lupus Society of Alberta, Suite 802, 5920 MacLeod Trail South, Calgary, AB T2H 0K2. www.lupus.ab.ca
