Barbara Winniefred Schreiner (nee Colbourne)
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Barb on February 26, 2024. She is survived by her children Garry (Denise) and
Chris (Donna), four grandchildren (Lance, Kimberlee, Bradley, Dustin), four great-grandchildren (Aurelie, Taylor, Celine, Max), sister-in-law Elaine, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Winnie Colbourne, her brother Fred, and her loving husband Mathias (Matt) Schreiner.
Barb grew up in Fawn Lake, Alberta, and spent some time in Calgary. After marrying Matt, she moved to the Vimy area and farmed there for many years. Upon retiring, they moved to Westlock, Alberta. Barb was very active in the community and the church. She was always willing to help anyone in need.
The family would like to thank the staff of Westlock Long Term care for their care and devotion to the well being and comfort of Barb during her stay.
Service will be held at the Westlock Funeral Home on April 20 at 1:00 pm with lunch to follow at the Westlock Legion after internment. Donations to the Alzheimer Society or charity of choice.
