Margaret Mary Webb (McEwan)
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Margaret Mary Webb (McEwan), of Dapp, AB, at the age of 87. Beloved daughter, wife, mother, and grandmother.
She will be remembered by her loving husband of 64 years, Robert, four children; Carol, (Mike) Rose, Nadine Lawless (Shawn), Sandra (Dedi) Melzer, and Robert (Cheryl) Webb. She will be missed by her 10 grandchildren; Adrienne, Mark, Josh, Carmen, Devin, Nolan, Levi, Scott, Aron, and Kalan.
Margaret was born in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan. She took hairdressing as a profession and would continue to do so for over 55 years. Margaret and Robert married in 1960 and raised four children in Westlock. They owned and operated the Golden Scissors Salon for many years. Margaret always enjoyed taking classes. She loved to learn new things. She was a member of the Westlock Legion Lady’s Auxiliary for years and worked many a bingo with her daughters. Margaret also enjoyed knitting, quilting, canning, and reading in her later years.
A celebration of life will be held at the LDS Church in Barrhead (5215 56 St.) on Saturday, September 7, 2024, at 2 PM.
