WIESE, JOHN WILLIAM LYLE (BUD)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the sudden passing of John William Lyle (Bud) Wiese of Barrhead, AB at the age of 94.
Bud was born in Rimbey, AB, and went on to work in the oil patch and then Waterous in Edmonton, AB. He loved traveling worldwide with Blanche, especially in the Triple E thru North and Central America, after they retired to their acreage near Ft. Assiniboine and then in Barrhead.
Bud is survived by his loving family; his dear wife of 52 years, Blanche Lucille (nee Simmons), his children; Rosemarie Gugat, Debra Reed (Harry), Joyce Belanger (Robert), Mary Ruth Olson and son-in-law Lee Haslam. Grandchildren; Traci Gugat (Dan), Sheri Cormack (James), Diana Forfar (Jason), Nicola Forfar, Elizabeth Reed, Jamie Belanger, Robyn Belanger, Jessica Scorey (Mark), and Yoshio Kimura; great-grandchildren; Dylan Cormack, Shia Scheumann, and Kaz Kimura. Bud is also survived by his sister, Alice Lee as well as numerous other family and friends.
Bud is predeceased by his parents, 3 sisters and 2 brothers, daughter Lorraine Haslam and son-in-law Bob Gugat.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
