Attje Zuidema
On November 23, 2022 Arlene Attje Zuidema was called home to her Lord at the age of 90 years old.
Arlene was born on December 28, 1931 in Anjum Friesland. She was the 6th child of Jan Zuidema and Antje DeJong.
Arlene completed her Registered Nursing training in Holland. In 1964 Arlene immigrated to Canada where she worked in the Barrhead General Hospital. While there, she first worked on the medical ward. When the Nuns left, Arlene became head nurse of the surgical and maternity wards until her retirement in 1992.
Arlene (Aunty) is lovingly remembered by many nephews and nieces, friends and her brothers and sisters in Christ.
Funeral Service is on December 2 at 11:30 am at the Rose Garden Chapel in Barrhead, Alberta.
