Dear Editor,
Kudos to the young gentleman who paid for my groceries when I went shopping at the Co-op on Friday, August 2.
As we waited in line, my groceries were on the counter while this man’s arms were full. Naturally, I let him go ahead of me.
When the cashier (Samantha) added up his groceries, the man told her to include mine with his bill.
I protested in vain. I have no idea whether the man was in town for a sports event or passing through. Unfortunately, I do not know his name or where he came from.
This is the second time this has happened to me this year. Such deeds should restore our faith in the young generation.
Parents, you should be proud of your sons.
