Dear Editor,
I can not understand why a community and we as a province also, would let two of our own boys be railroaded to prison to be scapegoats to cover another’s mistakes. If a foreign country treated our boys like that, our governments would be doing something to have them released.
Twelve years for giving a man a ride home is vengeance out of control. The justice or injustice system had numerous occasions to deal with James Rozko and didn’t, but now are hanging two boys for his actions.
The families of the fallen officers suffered a great loss, but how does destroying two more families help?
We have RCMP come to our schools to discourage bullying but I feel these families were bullied beyond belief.
