Drivers, show respect

Dear Editor, I am writing about the controlled intersections and un-controlled intersections in Town. More times than not people, “fly through” them without looking for people walking and or using canes, wheelchairs, walkers and power scooters.

Dear Editor,

I am writing about the controlled intersections and un-controlled intersections in Town.

More times than not people, “fly through” them without looking for people walking and or using canes, wheelchairs, walkers and power scooters.

I am not asking much from my fellow residents, but when are you people going to open up your eyes and obey the flashing lights and all of the traffic lights before somebody will be killed?

Next time you see us using the traffic lights to get across the street, please remember to give respect to everyone and ensure our safety.

Stop when the lights are flashing and everyone will be safe to cross the street. That is not too much to ask for because I want to be able to see my daughter and my grandchildren while being above the ground and not after I am six feet under the ground when it is too late.
