Dear Editor,
I would like to say thank you to the Barrhead Leader for its positive coverage of the ProLife Chain event. I was there too, but I have to admit, as a man, I did not enjoy it or feel good about it.
We all have to admit that if it wasn’t for men who follow nothing but their instincts, the problem of abortion would not exist. So if you saw me there as a self righteous male pointing a finger at poor desperate women who don’t know what else to do about their unwanted pregnancy, I want to say sorry and beg your forgiveness. You have every right to be offended.
And still I stand there because I desperately want to get a message across, and that is that you are not mere matter in motion. You also are not an evolved animal, neither you nor the life that is in you. You are the crown Jewel of Gods good creation. That is how we must view every human being. That is how every man should regard every woman. These are the ethics that built civilization. That is the truth on which we stand, and it is also what we believe we owe the public.
The secular religion enforced in Quebec is a dead end. While it presents itself as the fair middle ground between all religions and therefore the only hope for world peace, in reality its endorsement of all things promiscuous leads to a complete destruction of life. Human life is never disposable. For an example google the tragic life story of a certain Nancy Verhelst. There is no middle ground.
