The past few days I have been watching the news, everyone seems to want donations for something. The one that drew my attention mostly was the one that wanted donations to save the life of birds and animals. To my understanding some of these birds and animals are nearly extinct. Our country is over run by Canada geese, damaging the farmers crops and no one seems responsible for this. If you find a bird or animal that has been wounded I suggest you have someone put it out of its misery and give it to some hungry family that needs it. That would be one less trip to the Food Bank. I just finished reading a book published by Barrhead Historical Society entitled “Trails Northwest.” I would like every politician and newcomer to this country called Canada, to make an effort to read this book and see how the pioneers survived.
