Dear Editor,
I read the article re: shopping locally cost us more money than city prices. I, as a retailer check my prices monthly and in Edmonton I have found we are lower price wise, plus, we do lots of sales to keep people here. Unfortunately we are a small community and do not have Big Box stores here plus quality is much different as you can’t compare apples to oranges. Travel to the city costs gas and meals which nobody takes into consideration and returns take the same amount of time and money. Maybe all the stores should just close their doors and make people happier as they think we are all making so much money. This is my opinion as a retailer.
