Dear Editor,
This letter is to the young lady who I backed into about a week ago. Your baby was not hurt but I could see you were upset. We both went to the body shop and police station.
Later I received a phone call from the RCMP saying that she wanted to lay a charge for backing up without due care and attention of $120. I have never heard of such a thing. I believe she did this out of spite. Prior to this accident my trailer caught on fire and we lost a portion of our home. Today I received a bill from the County for services for $4,200. Other people including myself always thought this service was included in our taxes. So I guess my taxes only include a grader coming down our road two or three times a year.
Happy New Year,
Lester Kindt
