Dear Editor,
Bringing up the “New Swimming Pool Controversy.” We are looking for a pool that is affordable and not so controversial as it causes neighbours to argue. There is a way that taxpayers would be happy and that the taxes wouldn’t have to be raised. Have the swimming pool at Neerlandia, Alberta.
When Neerlandia moves into their new biggest and most beautiful “shopping mall” in the country, there will be a well maintained vacant building available and it has a real good roof on it. There are some of the best contractors in Neerlandia and with some volunteers, I’m sure for even less than the last quote given, (that is only my opinion thrown in), they would have a beautiful and affordable pool converted from this vacant building.
I haven’t talked to Neerlandia, so this is only me talking and thinking ...
They are getting a new, “State of the Art School” and presently there are nine school buses transporting children to this school at the moment. They would make good use of this pool. They have the biggest fuel depot and fertilizer storage in Neerlandia. So Neerlandia is really growing and I’m sure they would love to have a new swimming pool, which they would maintain easily.
Barrhead is only 18 short minutes away from Neerlandia, with a paved road and a new bridge. Feedback is welcome.
