Dear Editor,
I wrote a letter on March 13, 2013 to the Mayor and Town Council of Barrhead, explaining the fall I had on February 27, 2013. I was going into Fyfe’s Drug Store when I stubbed my toe on a rise in the cement, causing me to fall face down, cutting my forehead, bruising my nose, cutting my top lip and thumb; requiring 8-13 stitches in all. My new glasses, only had for ten months, were damaged beyond repair.
They haven’t even had the courtesy to acknowledge that they have received my letter or not.
I am 82-years-old and hopefully no one else will go through this due to the conditions of sidewalks and streets.
