I read with interest the article about the county councillors wages. $30 per hour is a good wage. I don’t agree they should get a $30 meal ticket plus mileage. When I worked away from home, I took my lunch and paid my way to and from work. I am on a pension; based on thirty days, I receive $7.13 per hour, and my last raise on my pension was $2.50 a month. Councillors receive more than that and they also have full time jobs.
