Whether it be a Porsche, or a giant GMC pick-up, taking up two parking spaces is considered, well, inconsiderate. And drivers are beginning to speak out in a very innocent way.
Not everyone carries a pen and pad of paper in their vehicle, but those who do are starting to use those office supplies as weapons.
Double parkers are coming out to their vehicles to find something stashed beneath their windshield wiper, and no, it’s not a parking ticket, it’s worse.
“Optimus Prime disapproves of this horribly executed parking job.”
Notes are being left on vehicles that take up more than their fair share of the spaces that are dubbed as parking lots, and other drivers are beginning to lose their patience.
Some note-leavers are courteous, and simply explain how they should be a little more careful as to where they leave their massive vehicle from now on.
While others are going to the extent of drawing diagrams, showing how the car should delicately be parked between the two bright yellow lines, or leave notes filled with blasphemous comments that some may find offensive.
Now not all-terrible parking is intentional, and in the winter season, it becomes more and more difficult to tell where parking spots actually are, but some drivers take the snowy weather as “all parking counts.” There are others who would disagree.
There are even booklets that can be purchased online that have funny, rude, and brutally honest comments.
Some include “go to a mechanic, your steering’s off.” These books are small enough to fit in your pocket, and include over twenty citations.
These “ticket books” are in full colour, and include a list of citations that would leave any driver’s jaw dropping.
“Did you park like this or was there an earthquake?”
These notes cannot get you in trouble with the law, but they can get you into a world of trouble if the driver of the vehicle catches you.
Anyone who takes up more space than necessary have been warned. Think twice before parking your vehicle slightly crooked, because you never know, you may be coming out to something on your windshield.
