Parties need to work in unison for Canada to prosper

Dear Editor: I would like to congratulate both Steven Harper and Jack Layton on their decisive wins in the federal election.

Dear Editor:

I would like to congratulate both Steven Harper and Jack Layton on their decisive wins in the federal election. The outcome of a Conservative majority and the opposition party being the NDP becomes the best possible scenario for all Canadians.

These two leaders are both honest and devoted to positive growth for Canada. Out of all the parties running for leadership, it is these two that through a united fellowship have the affinity to take Canada to the top of the world theatre. Both mandates are similar and aligned. Both leaders are honest and devoted to their individual causes.

Jack Layton sees security in the creation of new jobs, he wants to stabilize the pension fund, and rebuild retirement security. These mandates shadow the conscripts of the Harper government.

Stephen Harper took Preston Manning’s mantel upon his shoulders by swearing to equalize the senate where each province would receive an equal say in Canadian politics. He has sworn to greater security for Canadian citizens and the protection of our northern borders. He institutes progressive development and the creation of new technical jobs. He states we must utilize our hidden resources, and Canada’s undeveloped northern region is the richest deposit of untold resources on the planet. Take control of our resources.

Only by positive growth in these areas can Canada achieve great wealth. Only with great wealth can we achieve national security and a fulfilling retirement. Only by working together, instead of opposition, do we achieve these mandates. Through the unity of these two leaders I see great things to come for Canada.

It is now time for Canada to grow. It is now time to open our borders and develop our unused land. Bravo, Canada. The world is now watching, and we must get the job done, no matter what the cost. Only the end results become significant.
