Pool issue already decided

Dear Editor, Sue Keenan, sounds to me that the only thing transparent here is the fact that Council already decided the entire issue of the pool three years ago, with that original report.

Dear Editor,

Sue Keenan, sounds to me that the only thing transparent here is the fact that Council already decided the entire issue of the pool three years ago, with that original report. Therefore we compliant citizens are meticulously being re-positioned so this H preparations pill will go down. This sudden “Pool Closure Shock” is just another nail in the coffin. Should we then assume the new pool construction plan is also a dead issue; having already been excepted years ago; it’s simply a matter of delivering your preparations. Keenan whole heartedly acknowledged agreement with Penny, St. Pierre and Warehime as to the stated costs are not what they appear to be, there are inflammatory properties that ultimately add to the final expenditure. By that reasoning where a stated reno cost would blossom from five million to seven million, then the stated new pool costs should be expected to blossom from 18 million to 25 million by extrapolation. Amortized over 25 years, then the repayment would exceed one million dollars per year. It’s all in the preparation. Funny how listening carefully over the years helps to expose these intricacies. Council is side stepping the proclaimed fact that a pool built in the 70’s has quite suddenly become unfit for public health. Therefore applying these accepted ideals the proposed new pool will become unfit for public health long before we encumbered citizens can pay it off through a heavy tax burden. I don’t know what to think Ty, should I just bend over now in preparation. With that final statement of transparency the real issue becomes exposed. I think we are all floating down some proposed creek.

Sincerely,

W. Krechuniak
