Reader says Canada love it or leave it

Dear Editor, I love Canada. I think it’s the best country in the world. I feel fortunate to live here. I didn’t do anything to deserve such good luck. I just happened to be born here.

Dear Editor,

I love Canada. I think it’s the best country in the world. I feel fortunate to live here. I didn’t do anything to deserve such good luck. I just happened to be born here. People all over the world are suffering because of wars and other calamities.

I don’t blame anyone for wanting to come to this beautiful, peaceful country. I like the mixture of different races. It’s like a field of flowers, all different, and each with their own kind of beauty.

I’m used to Canada. I like the way it looks. I welcome new faces. What troubles me, is that many new people come from countries that are full of anger and hate for their neighbours. I don’t want anyone to bring those negative feeling here. If your religion seems like the only one and it differs from the way we live in Canada, then don’t come here. Don’t try to change us. We accept your religion, but don’t impose it on us. You came here, because you like the peace and safety we enjoy. Do not try to take advantage of our kindness. Leave your battles behind. Become Canadian, or stay home.

I want to see your face. I want women to be treated as equals. That is our way.

If you accept us, it can be your way.If you don’t - don’t come here.
