Dear Editor,
I agree this world is suffering great damage because of the human race. I don’t know where you get your information from but mine comes from the Bible. In the beginning God created everything that ever existed, excluding sin and everything was very good, including Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve. Man was ordered to govern the Earth, Genesis Chapter 1:28. But then the sly devil came on the scene and tricked man to disobey God, Genesis Chapter 3. From here on everything goes down hill because of sin. In Genesis Chapter 4 we read of the first murder, Genesis Chapter 19 we read of Sodom and Gomorrah where there were so many immoral acts of sex (the Adam and Steve style), that God rained fire and burning sulfur from the sky and the cities were destroyed. Today it’s even worse. Romans Chapter 1 verse 18 to the end, we read all about man’s sins. But do we take it to heart? No, today we have a law that allows same sex marriage and the list goes on and on. So what has all this got to do with our planet? When I follow all the genealogists from Adam to Jesus plus 2000 years since, this universe has only existed 10,000 years more or less. That’s a far cry from your 4 1/2 billion years. And then those dinosaurs who enjoyed millions of years of evolution. Sorry, but my Bible says that God created all the animals on the fifth day. Many species have since become extinct along with the dinosaurs. Why? Sin? Wicked man has neglected to take care of the job he was assigned to do. So is this world going to become uninhabitable as things go from bad to worse? Have no fear, Satan’s time is limited as ruler of this earth. As in the days of Noah, God in His anger against wickedness decided to clean house. Read Genesis Chapter 6. The day is soon coming when God can no longer stand it. He is going to tell his beloved Son, go pluck all those who have received you as Lord and Savior out of this world, for I am about to destroy this earth with fire and those who are left will face eternal punishment. Eternal is a lot longer than 4 1/2 billion years. I suggest you read God’s love letter to the human race which is the Bible.
My apology for not being politically correct.
