Dear Editor,
Did you know that the word “Grinch” is not in the dictionary? So it must be real awful. In this case the Grinch must be real miserable in himself to want to destroy someone else’s name or integrity and reputation, but in this case the Grinch was too late. If he would’ve waited a few days he would not have needed a meeting.
Then there is the other side of life where someone is a real hero, a real man – a little man with a Big heart which he really proved to me just before Christmas. I had been watching the flyers for a light handled snow shovel to come on sale, but it was always the heavy ones, so I told the clerk my story of why I needed a light handled one, that all my sore bones (after the accident September 27th) I needed a light handled one to move the snow. I had my hand on the door to leave when the very nice lady said, “hold it Frank, your shovel is on sale.” I said “no, there is no sale sticker on this one I need. That same nice lady said, “yes it is, for you the manager Byron Sanderson just put it on sale.” It was close to half price. Do you know you brought tears to my eyes Byron, at the breaking point to cry. Now that is what I call a real man, to make someone’s Christmas a lot brighter.
