Dear Editor,
On behalf of the business community in Barrhead, the Chamber of Commerce would like to thank both the Town and County employees for all their hard work over the past few weeks clearing and maintaining our roads. There are many businesses in our community that rely on cleared roads in order to conduct their business and when you are snowed in, your business feels the effects. I know that both crews worked tirelessly to make our roads passable and the many early mornings and many hours of overtime are greatly appreciated.
The town crews have done an outstanding job of maintaining Main Street. They have ensured that the snow is removed on the street and back alley making it very easy for Christmas shoppers to park and move around.
