Response to Kory Kopf letter
Yes, sadly, like most young women, I ignorantly chose abortion three times as a form of birth control. I was told my pre-born baby was just a “clump of tissue” at eight weeks, however, years later learned the truth that my baby had a beating heart by three weeks, arms, legs, fingers and toes by eight weeks! And like most women (64 per cent) I was forced and pressured by my parents and boyfriend to abort my children (www.afterabortion.org). Besides it was all legal, and the government was paying for them.
However, once I saw the truth of fetal development and discovered the humanity of life in the womb, I was devastated. Those were my precious children, they were not just blobs of tissue. For years I suffered depression, and at times, just wanted to die. Abortion does hurt women big time, physically and psychologically; we get the calls. Dozens of studies confirm that legal abortion damages women reproductive and mental health. Fifty-five credible worldwide studies also reveal that induced abortion is linked to breast cancer (www.abortionbreastcancer.com and www.bcpinstitute.org).
Knowing what I know today, I say that it is the pro-abortionists who are the aggressive bullies, and should pick on someone their own size, not the most innocent, weakest, unprotected human beings in the world; those fully human and fully alive until they are poisoned, dismembered, crushed and dumped in the garbage.
Pro-abortionists certainly do push their ideologies and ram them through our courts, media and government for abortion on demand, no questions asked, and must be paid for by every Canadian taxpayer too. Abortion is not a medical necessity but mostly a violent form of birth control. The right to have your child’s life terminated just because...should be unthinkable. The choice comes on who to have sex with, when, why and where...but once conception takes place, all the DNA is there for a person to live to over 70 years old.
I think the best term for children in the womb would be a pre-born child. I suggest Kory watches an old ultra sound video by former abortionist Dr. Bernard Nathanson, called, ‘The Silent Scream.’
Hitler had the philosophy of “kill the unwanted”, we should never have this philosophy, it is barbaric. Abortion is certainly not safe for the child in the womb, or for women either, (visit our website) as one day it hits you...I should have a 16-year-old, or a 5-year-old...
Many of my friends could never have children after abortion, when they wanted children. By the way, we know many pro-lifers who adopt and foster children too. I was blessed to have a miracle son, and love being a mother, but I sure miss not having my daughters. A child will never hurt you. Remember, abortion is not a black and white issue, it is blood red. It is a wrong and not a right.
The natural termination of a pregnancy...is the birth of the child.

PS....besides, when a woman is pregnant, she doesn’t say, Oh, my fetus is kicking...no she says oh, my baby is kicking...
