Two wonderful women

Dear Editor,

Recently, (July 23) my husband, Calvin, who is a hemiplegic, fell in our driveway while trying to get out of his truck. I could not get outside to help him. After falling, two young neighbourhood women, who were on a daily walk, came by and saw that he was on the ground. They immediately came into our driveway and asked if they could help. Upon learning that their help was needed, they made sure that Calvin was not hurt and then found a way to get him off the ground. After making sure that he was okay, they brought our groceries into the house and then ensured that Calvin got into the house without problem.

To the two young women, whose names I did not get, we want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Living in Barrhead, as opposed to living in Edmonton, has once again proved to us that we made the perfect choice in living here.
