Wanted: Robinson 's Crossing information

Dear Editor, In the early 1900’s Robinson’s Crossing was bustling with activity. Old timers remember a vibrant community but today’s younger generation has little or no knowledge of Robinson’s Crossing and its CNR rail history.

Dear Editor,

In the early 1900’s Robinson’s Crossing was bustling with activity. Old timers remember a vibrant community but today’s younger generation has little or no knowledge of Robinson’s Crossing and its CNR rail history.

I am searching for photos, maps and articles in order to complete a forthcoming page in the local papers. All material will be treated with care and consideration and returned to sender if requested. Credit will be noted upon publication.

Robinson’s Crossing ceased to exist in 1930. Buildings were removed and the land was sold. Any information on businesses: eg. Imperial Bank, pool hall, grocery store, or church would be welcome.

Please forward items to the Lac Ste. Anne Historical Society care of Judy Rheese, 780-785-2816, Jo Milligan 780-785-3744, or Val Ferguson, Box 569, Mayerthorpe T0E 1N0.

Let’s keep local history alive!

Val Ferguson,

Mayerthorpe
