This winter I have been very frustrated with the parking situation on 51 St. (the block between the town office and the Legion). I like to go to Curves and so often there has been no parking on the east side of the street and very little on the west side.
My understanding is that the majority of the parking stalls are being occupied by the people working in these establishments. I have been informed that there is parking room in the back for the employees.
Also this winter, when I have had to park a block away I had to be very careful because of the ice on the sidewalks.
This is not good for business when customers have no place to park.
