Is it time all Alberta school boards, municipalities, and other boards with elected officials have mandated recorded votes? We believe the answer is yes.

As with most years, I look to 2019 with a mix of eager anticipation and trepidation. Mostly the latter. Don’t worry, I’m not going to bore you with details of my New Year’s resolutions. I’m not a big believer in them anyway.

It’s hard to believe that 2018 is quickly coming to a close. We here at Barrhead Regional Fire Services are wrapping up an extraordinary year with completion of some projects and planning for 2019 is in full swing.

There are certain immutable facts we live with every day — gravity, thermodynamics and the like — but lower taxes isn’t one of them.
