It may be much ado about nothing.

Pembina Hills Public Schools (PHPS) trustees and school administrators are going to have to make some tough choices in the coming months and years. In late May trustees approved a budget that will see them going into the hole.

Time has a way of slipping away from us when we least expect it. Sometimes we think that it will stretch on into infinity but the reality is that all-to-often, there just isn’t enough of the stuff to go around.

I am a person. So are you, presumably. As a person, I like that my rights and freedoms are enshrined in the highest legal document this country has – the constitution.

Learning by doing is one of the mottos of 4-H, which requires someone to both teach and learn.

It’s a crazy world we live in, there’s no doubt about it in my mind. I thought freedom of expression meant that we were free to express ourselves, literally. Apparently, I was wrong.

Dear Editor, A few years ago, I made a decision that would change my life forever. I was playing by the railway tracks with my friends when I decided to hop onto a moving train. I fell off and my left leg went under the wheels.

Public land is exactly that and it should not be used as an extension of one’s private property. Period.

There are as many drops of bitumen to be squeezed out of the oilsands as there are opinions on the federal government’s decision to spend $4.5 billion to purchase the Trans-Mountain pipeline expansion.
