Athabasca County’s 2025 budget planning process is underway! The annual budget is the most important document that Council passes each year, and we want to hear from you! From now until September 27th, Athabasca County residents can share their opinions on how the 2025 budget should be spent. Your voice matters. 2025 Budget Survey Residential Snowplowing Program Plan ahead and register for the County’s new Residential Snowplowing Program. This updated program removes the need for displaying flags during each snow event. Applications are good for one (1) winter season and covers snow clearing from private lanes/driveways for rural Athabasca County residents for the entirety of the season. A fee of $200.00 + applicable taxes must be paid upon application. Applications close on September 30th, 2024. Visit Athabascacounty.com for more information on the program.
