Woodlands County is finalizing a draft of its

updated Land Use Bylaw (LUB) and invites all

residents, business owners and ratepayers to

attend any upcoming Public Information

Sessions.

This is your opportunity to:

Review the draft bylaw

Learn about proposed changes

Ask questions and provide feedback

Before the bylaw is considered for first reading

from Council.

Woodlands County is exploring updates in the

following key areas.

Reduce number of Land Use Districts

Streamlined definitions and land use

classifications

County will no longer consider the concept

of Cooperative Living District based on

public feedback

Alignment with the Municipal Government

Act and Municipal Development Plan

Modified Land Use classes for more efficient

permit approvals
