NOTICE OF NOMINATIONS
Local Authorities Election Act (Sec.25)
EVERGREEN CATHOLIC SEPARATE SCHOOL DIVISION

Pursuant to Section 25 of the Local Authorities Election Act, a person may file a nomination to become a candidate for a
general election, within the period beginning on January 1 in a year in which a general election is to be held and ending
at 12 noon on nomination day. This means that for the October 20, 2025 School Board elections, nominations can be
submitted starting January 1, 2025 during normal business hours up until 12 Noon on September 22, 2025.
Nominations must be accompanied by $100 – must be in the form of cash, certified cheque, money order as
per Bylaw #2024-01.
The deadline is 12 Noon on September 22, 2025.
