NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
Land Use Bylaw (LUB)
Pursuant to the Municipal Government Act, R.S.A. 2000, c. M-26, as amended, Sections 230, 606, and 692, the Council of the Summer Village of Sunset Beach hereby gives notice of its intention to adopt:
Bylaw No. 147-25 Summer Village of Sunset Beach Land Use Bylaw
The purpose of the Bylaw is to approve a new Land Use Bylaw (LUB).
THEREFORE TAKE NOTICE THAT pursuant to Sections 230, 606, and 692 of the Municipal Government Act a public hearing to consider the proposed Bylaw will be held:
Date: Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 7:00 pm

AND FURTHUR TAKE NOTICE THAT anyone wishing to make a verbal and/or written presentation may do so at the public hearing. All persons wishing to make a presentation at the hearing will be provided the opportunity to do so subject to the procedures for attending outlined below.
It would be beneficial for individuals to provide advance notice to Kim Bancroft, Chief Administrative Officer of the Summer Village of Sunset Beach, at [email protected] or (780) 239-7323 of their intention to make a presentation at the hearing and to provide any written submissions in advance to [email protected] before Tuesday, May 6, 2025.
AND FURTHER TAKE NOTICE THAT a copy of the proposed LUB is posted at: www.summervillageofsunsetbeach.com on the Public Participation Page.
