MONTREAL — Police say a man was killed and two others injured today in a crash in a western Montreal suburb where speed was possibly a contributing factor. Police say the collision occurred at roughly 3:45 a.m.

SHERBROOKE — Police in Sherbrooke, Que. say a 33-year-old woman was found dead in a residence and her partner is under arrest and will face charges.

QUÉBEC — A Quebec government committee that issued a report Friday on gender identity says it is concerned about how gender identity issues have become polarized and recommends deepening the province's knowledge base on the issue.
