WESTLOCK — Westlock RCMP are requesting the public’s help to identify a possible suspect, following an fraudulent incident at a local bank in early April involving several thousand dollars.
On April 4, a male suspect attended the Royal Bank of Canada in Westlock, where he produced false identification and using the security questions of the account holder, was able to obtain a replacement debit card and a new PIN. The suspect then made two withdrawals totaling $7,000.
The suspect is described as:
- Pale complexion
- Standing approximately five feet, nine inches
- Approximately 250 pounds
- 50+ year-old
- Bald head
- Salt and pepper goatee
- Last seen wearing a red plaid shirt and black jeans.
