Pamela Johnson is back in Westlock Court of Justice on Oct. 30 to deal with other criminal charges.

WESTLOCK – Three charges were dismissed against a 41-year-old woman following a trial in Westlock Court of Justice on Oct. 3.

Charges of credit card theft, possession of a controlled substance and unlawful use of a car were dismissed against Pamela Eunice Johnson. The charges stemmed from September 2023 when she was arrested for breaching a conditional sentence order, court heard.

Johnson, however, still faces other charges in separate incidents and is scheduled back in court on Oct. 30. On that day, a trial is expected to be scheduled for May 2024 charges of uttering/using counterfeit money, possession of counterfeit money, and possession of a controlled substance. The Crown is proceeding by indictment on those charges. This means if convicted she faces more prison time.

Charges from July 2024 of uttering/using counterfeit money and possession of counterfeit money are scheduled to be spoken to on Oct. 30.

Johnson was also in court on Oct. 2 to deal with an October 2023 shoplifting charge. The charge was withdrawn and she entered into a common law peace bond.
