Westlock Wild minor ball teams played several games at the ball diamonds near the community hall on July 8. The U13 softball girls were in action in a provincial qualifier against the Beaumont Blitz and the U11 baseball boys faced off against the Edmonton Angels.
The U13 softball girls lost their first game against the Blitz, but won the all-important second game to qualify for provincials in Leduc during the July 19 weekend.
