R.F. Staples hosted their carnival day on June 5 which featured an epic lineup of activities, food and humiliating teachers.
Students gathered on the field outside of the school for an afternoon of fun. Students grabbed their hacky sacks to play competitive cornhole while others took part in the water balloon toss and balloon dunk tank. For those who may not be into getting soaked, fortune telling, facepainting, balloon animals, and henna were all on the docket.
The school was joined by Sip Drinks, a soda truck that students could purchase various beverages from while also having things like freezies, ice cream and popcorn on hand for low prices.
One special activity included the chance to pie your teacher in the face. For five dollars, students can throw pans of pies at their teachers whether to get out some anger towards a bad grade or just for the sake of throwing something.
