Lisa Germann is running as a Division 4 candidate in the Oct. 18 municipal election. Germann will be running against Francis Cloutier who declared his candidacy earlier this month. Germann has set her sights on concerns she feels have gone unaddressed in the county.

WESTLOCK – Westlock County Division 4 candidate Lisa Germann promises to be a much-needed voice of ratepayers if elected in the Oct. 18 municipal election.

As a Division 4 resident for 20 years, Germann is running against Francis Cloutier in Division 4 in hopes to take the seat that will be left vacant by retiring incumbent Brian Coleman.

“I just would like to listen to the concerns and be a voice for the ratepayers,” said Germann. “I want to see Westlock County running smooth and profitable and strengthen some of Westlock County’s infrastructure for our ratepayers and then look at potential other revenue streams to help offset some costs and lower ratepayer's taxes and other expenditures,” she said.

Germann says she has “some ideas” but ultimately wants to echo the wishes of residents.

“I want to have a chance to see where things are at,” said Germann, who previously worked as the executive assistant to the county CAO. “I love living in Westlock County, the community, all the familiar faces and I would just like to be a part of moving forward in a positive direction if elected.”
