UPDATED Athabasca RCMP found missing teen

The teen was last seen leaving her home around noon on May 5.

The Athabasca RCMP reported a missing girl was located safely.

June 3 Update: 

The Athabasca RCMP reported the youth had been located safely. Her name and picture have been removed from the story accordingly.

Original Story:

The Athabasca RCMP are looking for public assistance in locating a 15-year-old teenager who was last seen on May 5. 

RCMP received a report on May 6 that the youth was missing and had left her home around noon on May 5. She was last seen on May 5 around 9 p.m., entering a white SUV with an unknown woman. It is believed she is travelling to Edmonton. 

RCMP are concerned for her safety and well-being.
