Nominations for the Oct. 21 municipal election have closed for today, but only four village council candidates have come forward for the five Village of Boyle councillor positions.

As a result, nominations will reopen again tomorrow from 10 a.m. ‘til noon.

If no one comes forward tomorrow, nominations will be open for five further days (excluding weekends) for the same hours.

Incumbent councillors Don Radmanovich (currently mayor) Sam Assaf, David Bencharsky and Mike Antal (currently deputy mayor) are running again.

The four candidates have been the only councillors for the last three months, as former councillor Roger Hall resigned in June.

No non-incumbents have come forward at this time.
