Aspen View school board trustee and former Athabasca County councillor Edgar Koehler passed away suddenly Monday morning in Athabasca.
Koehler, a lifetime resident of the Athabasca area, served eight terms as school trustee representing Athabasca North West, and served on the a number of committees. He also served several terms on Athabasca County council, representing Division 8 (Baptiste-Island Lake).
