A trial date has been set for a man charged with aggravated assault and discharge of a firearm.
Lindsie Bigstone appeared in Athabasca Provincial Court Nov. 20, and will go on trial before the Court of Queen’s Bench in Edmonton for a total of four charges. The charges also include possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and wearing a disguise with intent to commit an indictable offence.
Bigstone was ordered to stand trial Jan. 12 at 9:30 a.m.
The trial was committed by Judge Michčle Collinson following a preliminary inquiry during the court proceedings. The details of the evidence in the preliminary inquiry are protected under a publication ban.
