Division 2 (Colinton area) incumbent Denis Willcott beat out Frank Ponto 233 votes to 53 this evening.
The division encompasses Colinton and New Pine Creek.
“I feel really good, because if I’d have won by only a few votes, I wouldn’t have liked it, but this way I know I’m working for the people,” said Willcott.
Willcott has been an advocate for removing transport trucks from the small hamlet of Colinton. He remained strong in his stance entering the election.
“I really appreciated the people in my division giving me another chance,” he said.
