Fatal collision with coach bus on Hwy 63
Boyle RCMP responded to a call shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday of a southbound SUV that collided with a northbound passenger bus on Highway 63 approximately 20 km north of Boyle. The driver of the SUV was pronounced deceased on scene.

New Year's Feast
A chickadee is spotted hanging from a bird feeder in a property just just off of Highway 813 on the south side of the Athabasca River during the Dec. 27 Christmas Bird Count. The bird count bas been a part of the Athabasca tradition for 13 years and helps with the conservation of various species by keeping an eye on local bird populations.
