In the wacky, wonderful world of comedy theatre, the improbable is probable.

So it is with Sharon Plunkett’s latest production.

It is a tale of two crooks, both a little cerebrally challenged. After busting out of jail they end up in a convent.

Try as they might to fit in, they kind of stand out and ...

… and to discover what transpires, you will have to wait and watch “Nun Two Straight” next month.

The four-act musical comedy is the Belvedere Little Theatre Group and the Stettin Nakamun Community 3rd annual show.

The cast includes Shelley Vaughan, Gloria Kirchner, Paxton Schulte, Charity Lane, Flora Reidford, Nikkie Mckeand and Daren Tuftin.

“Daren Tuftin is our newbie this year,” said Plunkett, who wrote and directed the play.

The comedy will be performed at Stettin Nakamun Hall on Friday, April 11, and Saturday, April 12.

Doors open at 5:30. Supper will be at 6:30, with the show to follow.

For the Sunday matinee performance on April 13, doors will open at noon.

There will be a light lunch followed by the show.

Last year, Plunkett’s musical comedy “The Dr. Is In?” proved a big success, as did her 2012 show a three-act comedy “Desperate Housemates.”

The Belvedere group’s shows used to be held at Belvedere Hall in Barrhead county, but last year Stettin Nakamun Hall, south of Dunstable, was chosen for the first time as the venue.

It can seat up to 100 people.

To get to Stettin Nakamun Hall travel south of Barrhead on Highway 33 to Busby corner (Highway 651), then east to Highway 777, south for eight miles to Township Road 562 and then west for a half mile. Go on to the north side of the road.
