Yet another fabulous fair!

Another great Blue Heron Fair is under Barrhead’s belt.

Fun for the whole family started with the parade Saturday morning, and only went up from there.

Whether it was watching the demolition derby crash and smash its way to a triumphant comeback on Friday night, swinging for the next hit in the softball tournament, or gripping the stands during the high-action rodeo, there was something for everyone.

As for the kids? With their faces brightly painted, children ran about the grounds eagerly from one activity to the next. Young boys and girls spent their time jousting in a bouncy castle and digging for gold, and when they didn’t think that was enough excitement, they took to the rodeo arena for mutton bustin’ and the calf scramble.
