A man from Goodfish (Whitefish) Lake had to be airlifted to an Edmonton hospital for emergency care after reportedly being shot.

Police found three men with gunshot wounds and they were transported to the hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. 

"The area in Phase 3 where the shooting occurred is not going to be accessible as police investigate the incident," police said in a release.

Police have confirmed three people sustained serious injuries at a shooting at West Edmonton Mall. The lockdown for West Edmonton Mall is in the process of being lifted.

"We urge citizens to be mindful of misinformation circulating online and we encourage them to obtain information from professional media sources as well as our social media pages," the police said in a release.

"There are concerns for public safety and the Mall is currently on lockdown," the police said in a release. 

The club says over 3,000 evacuees had registered at the Edmonton Expo Centre as of noon Sunday.

Monday’s gains were all about tech, said Allan Small, senior investment adviser at iA Private Wealth.

St. Albert city council approved an internally developed housing action plan on Aug. 15, which is the basis of the city's application to the federal government's Housing Accelerator Fund.

“What we’ve been finding due to this campground configuration is it’s really negatively impacted the movement of wildlife. That’s resulted in numerous human-wildlife conflicts over the years. Pretty much on an annual basis.”
